The books in this section are usually hardcover and in decent condition, though we'll sometimes offer hard-to-find books in lesser condition at a reduced price. Though we often put images of the book with their original dust jackets, the copies here won't always (or even often) have them. If that is important to you, please call ahead or say so in the order comments!

Gary Cooper was an American actor known for his strong, quiet screen persona and understated acting style. He won the Academy Award for Best Actor twice and had a further three nominations, as well as an Academy Honorary Award in 1961 for his career achievements. He was also a man of faith.

This book tells of his childhood, schooling, and entry into acting. It brings to light his many injuries, tells of his friendships with men like Jimmy Stewart and John Wayne and his happy marriage to Veronica. Finally, it concludes with his cancer diagnosis and journey in the early 1960s.
