The sub-title of a Credenda Agenda magazine once caught my attention—"The Weariness of Sabbath Breaking." In our time, the fourth commandment is probably the least kept, and it is amazing how many Christians fail to realize what they are missing! They have lost the beauty of this event and replaced it with the "McDonald" mindset of the Sabbath. It's really not true that we don't have the time to worship God as He requires, but it's something we have to make a priority. This book shows that keeping the Sabbath needn't (and shouldn't) be a burden, and that a proper understanding and keeping of the Sabbath is a delightful and restful weekly celebration in our lives.
Ray explains what is so special about the Sabbath and how we can make the best use of Sundays in a fast-paced world.
