This Preschool set of workbooks is published by a Mennonite company, and so you won't find them selling on the internet. This set of books covers some of the basic preschool skills required before formal reading and writing occur. There is practice of fine motor skills through various drawing activities. A few letters are covered, though mostly in the last book. The scenes and items in the book were sometimes a little foreign to my child and required explanation. I believe the publishers are referred to as "Plain" people, and there is a quite a lot of rural and farming reference. There is also no color in the books, they are black line drawings. Despite this, my child never complained, and I found them a good introduction to the Rod and Staff Preschool series. From 3 years and up.
