The books in this section are usually hardcover and in decent condition, though we'll sometimes offer hard-to-find books in lesser condition at a reduced price. Though we often put images of the book with their original dust jackets, the copies here won't always (or even often) have them. The book is classic travel-adventure from the late 30s. The first part details travels in the Occident, and the second part, the Orient. It is written as a father might write to his son or daughter with a large number of photographs and illustrations throughout. It comes across not just as a travel book, but in many ways it captures a world that's long gone. Some of the places mentioned were later ravaged by World War II or other calamities.
