On March 16, 1937, in Paterson, New Jersey, Kreeft entered the world to parents John and Lucy. Raised a Calvinist, he went on in life to earn a Ph.D from Fordham University and then taught philosophy at Boston College and The King's College. Kreeft later converted to Catholicism, and while he's been an instructor at Boston College since 1965, he is also an author of over 45 books that include Socrates Meets Jesus, the Father of Philosophy Series, and Back to Virtue. His works draw from religion and philosophy. Kreeft speaks at conferences and writes for Christian publications.
